WRITE CLUB is the Open University Student Association’s Writing Society.
Write Club is a group open to any OU student or member of staff who has an interest in writing prose (there is an OU Student Association Poetry society here).
Our aim is to provide an enjoyable, safe, non judgemental, and fun online community where fellow writers can share their work, read other’s writing, come along for inspiration, share their anxieties and successes, and make new like-minded friends.
We run competition, post favourite quotes, post inspirational messages, share writing prompts, post photographs of our writing spaces, and talk about our favourite authors.
For membership of the Writing Society simply email WriteClub@gmx.co.uk and we’ll send you a welcome letter and newsletter with all our details.
We have a closed WRITE CLUB forum to allow people to put in work for critique without it appearing online. We discourage course work because we don’t want to take that away from the Tutor Groups. This is the location of the Forum:
